sneak peek…sweet baby love
Posted on September 29, 2008
Absolute sweetness.

(We won’t tell them that at 2.5 years old he still may be sucking this finger… It will be cute for quite awhile before worrying about that.
Was forced awake (not by me of course) to show us his eyes. And was okay with it long enough to give us shots like this ~
But oh so tired… Let me go back to sleep guys.
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek! More sweetness to come!
wedding day – part II
Posted on September 28, 2008
Finally, part two of the wedding pics – the second half of the day…
I am so happy with this family shot ~
Yeah, there was some SERIOUS dancing going on there ~
This was such a great opportunity for me. As some of you may know, weddings are not my thing. And its not that I have done so many and decided it wasn’t my thing, but more that I didn’t feel ready. This couple had faith in me though and I am so grateful that they asked me to do this. I am very happy with the results. Not to say that I am not bummed by all the shots I feel I missed… But it was a great starting point for me. When I look at the photos as a whole, I feel like their wedding day was well documented and that makes me very happy.
It really was a beautiful day. This is a very special couple and I wish them the very best. May God richly bless their marriage and their family, always.

wedding day – part I
Posted on September 8, 2008
Still working on these wedding photos, but getting closer so yeaaa! I really am very happy with how they are coming out and I hope the bride and groom will be too. To hold them over a bit, I thought I’d share some from the first half of the day and then when I’m done I’ll post some more.
Can you tell they are sisters? Such beautiful girls…
I am so happy with the photos I got of both mom and dad with their little girl. She’s a doll. Seriously beautiful people here…
Have you ever seen the sand ceremony before, opposed to doing the traditional unity candle lighting ceremony? My sister did this as well, but I thought this was truly beautiful since all three, mom, daughter and dad added to the jar.
Stay tuned for more!
sneak peek… 1 year old cutie
Posted on September 2, 2008
Oh my goodness… One of the BEST parts of my “job” is that I meet little ones when they are just days old, like this little guy was ~
And then a year later, I get to see them “all grown up” looking like this ~
I LOVE this shot. I know he’s not smiling, but I think he’s just stunning here.
I think poor mom has been so worried that we didn’t get anything at this session… Her normally happy baby just wasn’t too happy. But you know what, that’s just how it is sometimes. Such is life. Mom and I pushed it as far as we could and then called it a day. I knew we got some good shots because just look at this cute little guy – he’s adorable with and without a smile.
Thanks so much my friends for trusting me with your beautiful little boy’s one year photos. He is precious and it was a joy to once again come together to celebrate his life and the blessing that he is at “almost” one.

sweet family session
Posted on September 1, 2008
This family session was done for a client friend of mine that I have had the pleasure of seeing three times since March and will see one more time in November. Our first session was with her own family, celebrating their daughter’s third month; our second session was a four generations session celebrating the women in her family from grandma to daughter; and this third session was with her dad and visiting brother’s family.
I love this shot of grandpa and his grand-daughters. Isn’t it sweet?
Showing some love to her dad and brother ~
Her brother’s family is so cute ~
And with some encouraged tickle time, even cuter!
I was so glad to get this shot for them too ~
We all loved the shots taken of the girls together. This was a storyboard I put together for Missy ~
And one of my favorite shots of my friend with her precious little family ~
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Missy and the friendship she has brought to my life. Just such an encouraging, fun and “real” person. I have also enjoyed getting to know her husband and daughter, along with her extended family. All are incredibly sweet and gracious people. Thank you Missy for making my “job” so enjoyable and rewarding.
I believe I am caught up in sharing all my completed sessions. I’m working hard on the wedding photos, which I am very happy with so far. And I also have a family session and one-year old session to share soon! Stay tuned…
