catching up
Posted on August 20, 2009
I feel absolutely awful for not posting lately… Whenever that happens you can guess that I am super duper busy, and not just slacking, even if it appears that way. I just finished proofing my last wedding from July and now I’m playing catch up, BIG TIME. I have a long “to do list” printed and posted above my computer monitor that I’m desperately trying to work my way through. (I’m totally a list girl and I LOVE being able to cross things off on paper! Makes me feel so much more accomplished that way.) After taking care of client orders, the list includes client sneak peeks, prepping my 2009 holiday cards to post on my website, as well as announcing my holiday mini-session dates. So please please stay tuned for all that good stuff.
And speaking of the holidays, its crazy weird to think about it this early, but that’s what I have my mind on right now… Apparently many others do too because I’ve already booked for the rest of the year. I do have some mini sessions coming up, but I don’t have any more regular sessions available. And it happened lickety-split!
Okay, better get back to work. I promise to be back by the weekend with some sneak peeks! Take care!

what a dolly
Posted on August 2, 2009
Oh how I love meeting up with my little baby clients through their first year! Really and truly, it is so very special for me to come back and see how they’ve grown, especially after seeing them as newborns. What a blessing they are to me!
(You can see this little one as a newborn here.)

Probably my most mobile 6 to 7 month old yet! Just absolutely all over the joint and anxious to walk too! She was great at standing as long as she could hold on to something (or someone), and that really worked for us because she actually had trouble getting down from that position!

Hello dolly!
And mom, I’m holding back on you. (wink wink)
I hope these next photos are as special as mom hoped they would be… The quilt was made by a very special person… I love it when you can bring a meaningful item into a session because it adds heaps to how you are going to feel about these photos years down the road. ~

We got some big brother shots too! Just such a bright and beautiful little boy ~
And yes, even got the kiddos together!
Little Miss L was climbing all over him, but he was so patient with her. In fact, I hear he is a wonderful big brother. There is no doubt in my mind!
Mom, thank you so much for your patience in waiting for this sneak peek. I know it was hard waiting! I can’t wait to show you the rest!
Have a great week everybody!
